If you are applying for new service, changing existing service, or have a billing question, dial 811.
When applying for new service, you may save time by having the following information available:
- Name of the responsible party
- Listing information (primary and additional)
- Social Security Number
- Driver's License Number
- Nearest realative's name, telephone number, and address
- Which long distance carriers you will be using
- Which custom calling features you want
Check Fees
There will be an additional charge if a customer's check is returned by a bank or financial institution. A charge will not apply if the check is returned in error by the bank or financial institution.
About Deposits
We may require a deposit as security from customers whose payment practices indicate a risk of non-payment or from new applicants who have not yet established satisfactory credit references.
If a customer receives two late notices within a twelve month period, his or her account will be reviewed for a deposit. In addition, deposits may also be requested based on an increase in toll usage.
Interest
All deposits required by the Company shall bear interest. No interest shall apply unless the deposit and telephone service have been in existence for a continuous period of six months.
Refunds
We refund deposits when a customer establishes a satisfactory payment record for one year or when a customer discontinues service. If your deposit isn't refunded after a year, and you did not receive more than one late notice in that year, please notify our business office. Deposits which are being refunded will be credited against your telephone bill and will be itemized on your bill.
